Benoit Brunet spoke on Les amateurs de sports with Yannick Bouchard about the Habs' preparation and according to him, the season will be long.
Brunet talked about the situation of the goaltenders, Kaiden Guhle and Arber Xhekaj who will start in Montreal according to him, but also about the situation of Jonathan Drouin, who would need a change of scenery.
« At this point in his career, it would take a change of address. [Kent Hughes has to find a way to give him a third wind in his career, because you don't want it to become a distraction. All of a sudden he doesn't play the first game, it's going to be total panic and you don't want to force your coach to dress a player." - Benoit Brunet
Still according to Brunet, Jonathan Drouin needs to play in a team where there is no pressure. In any case, the request is clear, do everything to avoid distractions.
