Jack's obviously still not 100% ready to go, but this was a good start. Jack said "This was a bit of a emotional moment for another step in the process. This was like a kid waking up on Christmas morning getting the opportunity to get back on the ice with the guys."

"I was sitting here and I was pinching myself a few times during the rehab process, just being like, 'I went through all that, for this?' It's pretty straightforward," Eichel described. "I had surgery. I went out to dinner with my parents that night. It was a lot more straightforward than I had expected. To be completely honest, it was a really smooth process. ... I'm very proud that I stood up for what I believed in. At the end of the day, it all panned out like I hoped it would."

His camp was asked about a possible return date he replied saying "he's ready when he's ready"

Jack Eichel was traded November 4th 2021 from the Buffalo Sabres to the Las Vegas Golden Knights after a battle with management over Eichel' surgery he wanted. The Sabres got Alex Tuch, Peyton Krebs, and a 1st and 2nd draft picks.

Jack Eichel is a bonafied super star, he was drafted 2nd overall by the Sabres in 2015 behind Connor McDavid, Jack has represented team USA in the World Juniors and despite playing in Buffalo, he was almost a point per game player. Jack has 139 goals, 139 assists, for a total of 355 points in 375 games with the Sabres, when Jack is fully healthy and ready to go he's going to make a very good Las Vegas Golden Knights team even better.
