John Tavares and Mitch Marner are NOT Impressed With New Jersey Devils Fans
The Toronto Maple Leafs pulled off something incredible last night. They managed to break the New Jersey Devils' impressive 13-win streak.
It didn't come without controversy, however. The Devils had three goals called back by the officials during the game, which would have easily won them the game, that was separated by only one.
In response to the officials stealing' the game, fans threw things on the ice - much to the chagrin of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Mitch Marner had this to say after the game:
It's full beers. It's dangerous. We're not looking for that. We're not seeing it coming. Dodge a couple ... It's a dangerous thing. I dont know why it's our fault ... they're throwing it to try and hit us. It's the first ive ever seen
Captain John Tavares equally spoke out:
It's disappointing. It's dangerous. Yeah, it is what it is. I think it felt better to beat the crowd than the Devils tonight.
An embarrassing display by a fan base that should be jumping with joy
