Tomas Tatar has been a key player for the Montreal Canadiens for several seasons. Acquired in the deal that sent Max Pacioretty to Las Vegas, Tatar ended up being a very important player in that trade, which also included a certain Nick Suzuki.
According to David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, Kent Hughes acquired the same kind of player this summer when he traded Shea Weber to Vegas. That player's name is Evgeny Dadonov :
"I like the addition of Dadonov by the Habs. You have space under the ceiling, you have to use it well. We know he's talented. Give him the opportunity and Dadonov could produce a little bit like Tatar and you can trade him for other good assets." - David Pagnotta
Will Dadonov's value be enough by the next trade deadline to acquire some interesting picks and youngsters?
Stay tuned.
