The general manager of the Montreal Canadiens, Kent Hughes, spoke for the first time on the Logan Mailloux file.
If it wasn't for his off-ice antics, Mailloux would already have his entry-level contract in his pocket.
"When you look at the body of work done or the experience, who knows? But that would be a very unlikely scenario. In my opinion, the best course of action for him is to go pro next year rather than be back in London. Where we are right now in terms of getting him to sign a contract and that sort of thing, I think we're putting it off a little bit. Because we're still evaluating him as a human being!"
The future with the Habs on defense will be fabulous, with Romanov, Harris, Mailloux, Barron and Struble, just to name a few.
