MIC'D UP Pat Maroon Gives a Heartwarming On-Ice Apology to Evander Kane
It was a fitting return for Evander Kane last night. His last game before his gruesome wrist injury came against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Last night, he essentially got to finish the game he started. Before the matchup started, however, Kane shared a moment with Pat Maroon, the player who caused his accident.
Maroon revealed that in the heat of the moment, he had no idea he was responsable, and only found out when his son told him later on.
My son told me I did it. I didn't even know I did it. My bad I guess.
Hopefully Evander will be back in full form soon, and can become the piece that brings the Oilers deep into the playoffs.
