Major Update Regarding Vladimir Tarasenko Arises
Vladimir Tarasenko's contract situation is one of the most closely followed storylines in the NHL right now and it has a major update.
Major Tarasenko Update
Vladimir Tarasenko is the number one free agent on the market right now. However, just a few days ago, it was speculated that he would no longer be on the open market.
It was rumored that he would be signing with Carolina and even the Hurricanes thought that. Per NHL insider David Pagnotta, they had a press release ready for the Tarasenko signing.
However, he walked away from the deal and switched agents shortly after making him a wild card for the rest of the offseason.
Tarasenko's Production
Tarasenko has a down year last season posting only 50 points. However, one year prior, he scored 82 points in 75 games. He is primed for a bounce back in the right system which caters to his ability to fire off wrist shots.
In his 675-game career, he has scored 270 goals and 574 points.
