There's a feeling that not many Stanley Cup contenders are eager to enhance their goalies.
The Edmonton Oilers are rumored to be in the mix for Fleury, although he reportedly does not consider them a serious competitor.
This would be Fleury's second pre-trade rejection after the Capitals.
Fleury stated earlier this week that he has not spoken to the Hawks about a possible trade, though he believes his agency has.
Flower also stated that he expects to play at least one more season after this one.
I adore Fleury and am excited to see what he can achieve in his last seasons, especially with a championship-caliber team.
