Upfront, they have a great young core that has skill and talent that can bring them back to the big dance, regardless of that veteran presence they may be lacking. In addition they have made some nice nice moves bringing in Mike Hoffman, and to a lesser extent Matthieu Perrault. On the back end, they are equipped with very responsible defencemen that can take care of their own end and contribute in timely circumstances like we've became accustom to seeing this past Stanley Cup Final run. Unfortunately having Shea Weber out with injuries is still a huge lose for the back end and hopefully he'll be returning sooner rather than later. For that reason, I have left him out of the defensive lineup.
In net, there has never been a question about their number one starting goalie ever since they drafted Carey Price back in 05' (crazy to think there was any sort of controversy when that happened.) The only question has been whether they have an able backup that can come in and be stellar enough for them if Carey goes down with injury.
