The Canadiens practiced for the first time since having their activities paused for Covid prevention were on the ice today, and there was speculation that Habs Goaltender Carey Price would of made an appearance. To either skate with his team or before them or even after but we got nothing.

We learned from Sportsnet Eric Engels, Price is still waiting for Dr's approval from his surgeon from his knee surgery back in July. Montreal Canadiens Head Coach said Price could still get on the ice before meeting with the Dr's there's a plan in place.

Ducharme was asked if Carey will play this season and said, «No one has told me that Carey doesn't have a chance of playing this year,» said Ducharme. «We talked about the steps he needs to go through. It's certain that with the time we lost that we couldn't even be in this building. That was time for treatment, time for practice that he and other players didn't have.»

Jake Allen was asked about the Canadiens season, and he mentioned the Stanley Cup he won with St Louis in 2019 when they were dead last, Allen went on to say,

«We need to take things out of this season that are going to be positive, that are going to help this team and this organization next year»

And then Allen said, «Win or loss doesn't matter at this point.»

The Canadiens next game Wednesday night vs the Boston Bruins in TD Gardens
