Elliotte Friedman tweeted this morning the following:
«There is word this morning the NHL is going to reach out to Robin Lehner, ask if he would like to be directly interviewed by the league.»
Here's why the NHL wants to meet Lehner.
Lehner slammed Philadelphia Flyers coach Alain Vigneault, labelling him a "dinosaur" and demanding his immediate dismissal. However, the fact that he makes these charges while tying them to his earlier tweet appears to indicate as much.
Even worse, Lehner claims he has "evidence" of his charges against the Flyers' head coach. Even implying that Vigneault won't be able to "shake" out of this one.
This is a major story! Why do I feel like this isn't going to end well?
