The Chicoutimi Saguenéens' new owner, Antoine Roussel, discussed his future with the media earlier this week.
At 32 years of age, he still has some good hockey left to play and a return to Arizona would be possible for him.
I think the door is still open with the Coyotes. There are a lot of teams that are patient. They want to cut payroll. There's one team that's kind of blocking everybody and that's probably starting with the Coyotes. It's cutting off the other teams' progress. As long as that doesn't happen, there's nothing going on. Despite that, I'm not discouraged." - Antoine Roussel
As for André Tourigny, head coach of the Arizona Coyotes, he would love to see Roussel back in his lineup.
Rouss" (Roussel) is a very good point guard. Antoine knows where I stand. He was very good for our youth. He was exemplary in his effort. But the decision to bring him back or not is up to Bill (Armstrong) and the management. We also have several young guys in Arizona. I can say though that the door is not closed on our side, especially on the coaching side." - Andre Tourigny
