With the Nashville Predators eliminated in four games yesterday against the Colorado Avalanche, all indications are that forward Filip Forsberg has played his last game with the Preds.
Yesterday, he took a walk around the ice by himself to greet the fans on hand.
Forsberg will become a UFA this summer. In 69 games this season, the Swede collected 84 points, including 42 goals.
He earns $6M per year. Clearly, he will be entitled to a very good salary increase next season.
