Patrick Kane Drops a Bombshell That Could Tie Him To a Canadian Team
Just as Claude Giroux did at the last trade deadline, Patrick Kane will essentially be able to choose his destination when an inevitable trade occurs.
The New York Rangers have been highlighted as a potential destination for a long time, due to Kane's love of the team, and a possible reunion with longtime linemate Artemi Panarin.
When asked about Panarin in an interview he dropped a bombshell.
«I mean, obviously, it'd be fun to play with Panarin again," said Kane as per Scott Powers. "It'd be fun to play with (Alex) DeBrincat again.»
While he would love to play with Panarin, another player he'd love to have a reunion with would be Alex DeBrincat, who was traded to the Ottawa Senators prior to the draft.
With Kane having so much of the control over where he goes, could he pull off a reunion with DeBrincat in Ottawa?
This will be an interesting story to follow.
