Penguins Have Been Linked to an Intriguing Tough Defender
The Penguins have to be more creative than most teams at this years' deadline. With no guarantee of a playoff spot, they'll be weary to trade significant assets, and their cap situation is very tight.
This has led them to be linked to Anaheim Ducks defender Dmitry Kulikov. Kulikov makes only $2.25-million, and provides significant positive value. He can play tough minutes, and carries a desirable physical game.
The Penguins need to improve at several different areas of their roster, and Kulikov would definitely be a good target.
