When he was acquired, Kirby Dach was seen as the future second centre behind Nick Suzuki. However, with his incredible start to the season on the wing, on the captain's trio, he collected 14 points in 15 games. As the old saying goes, you don't change a winning formula.
So who will be considered the true second centre of the team? Monahan or Dvorak? The answer would be neither.
In a discussion on BPM Sports, Jean-Charles Lajoie and Tony Marinaro reportedly targeted none other than Pierre-Luc Dubois. According to them, Kent Hughes intends to go to great lengths to acquire him.
The Quebecer will be an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2024 and could sign, as he sees fit, in Montreal.
A file to watch!
