RUMOUR: NHL Broadcaster Overhears Patrick Kane to Toronto
When there is a trade looming, the insiders start to talk. While most of us don't get these types of opportunities, those that have cemented themselves in the industry get to share the press box with management, scouts, and more.
Broadcaster Dave McCarthy, of SiriusXM, has shared something exciting that he overheard in the press box.
Overheard in the press box:
What number is Patrick Kane going to wear? Nylander probably isn't giving up 88 right? It's a valid question, since it's hard to imagine Kane wearing anything but 88, but the underlying excitement is that the sentiment is that Patrick Kane will be a Toronto Maple Leaf!
Kyle Dubas has to go ahead and make the move happen, then we can worry about his number!
