According to NHL insider Darren Dreger, the Chicago Blackhawks will interview former Boston Bruins and Edmonton Oilers GM Peter Chiarelli.
Darren Dreger:
"Sources indicate that Peter Chiarelli... has been contacted by the Chicago Blackhawks and will interview for their hockey operations vacancy... this could move very quickly. The interviewing process expected to begin this weekend."
If I'm a Blackhawks fan, this news makes me shiver. Chiarelli has won a Stanley Cup, but the Bruins won it despite his poor management.
Consider his catastrophic tenure as GM of the Edmonton Oilers.
Does Peter still have what it takes? Is this a desperate move by the Hawks? Let us know below...
