Sad News About Jesse Puljujarvi; He has hit Rock Bottom
For several months now, the name of Finnish Jesse Puljujarvi has been mentioned in the various trade rumours.
According to Sportsnet's Mark Spector, Puljujarvi could be traded sooner rather than later with the imminent return of Kailer Yamamoto.
"For those waiting to see if Jesse Puljujarvi's name is on waivers, it seems less likely that Yamamoto will play on Sunday, so no movement at this time. But when Yamamoto is ready, we're pretty sure Puljujarvi will be on waivers."
Unfortunately, Ken Holland has major constraints with the salary cap and if he can't trade him by the time Yamamoto returns, that will be the decision.
Puljujarvi is 24 years old and has a salary of $3 million through the end of the season. In 49 games this season, the former fourth overall pick in 2016 has 10 points and a -13 rating.
