As mentioned by our colleagues at Fanadiens.com, the Habs could once again get revenge on the Carolina Hurricanes.
And how? Very simple. The 24-year-old defenseman, Ethan Bear, will become an independent player with compensation next July.
According to Marco D'Amico, the Hurricanes have no intention of signing him and he will become an unrestricted free agent.
SO, the Habs could get him for free and offer him a contract.
The defenseman had 21 points in 2019-2020 with the Oilers. This season in Carolina, he has 14 points in 58 games.
