The Carolina Hurricanes have agreed to terms on a four-season contract extension with goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov.
The deal will pay him an average of $2 million per season.
In four games this season in Carolina, the 23-year-old Russian has maintained a 2.00 goals-against-average and .914 save percentage.
