The Pittsburgh Penguins Eyeing Former 30 Goal Scorer
The Pittsburgh Penguins have been fairly silent in the trade arena, and it's been said that Ron Hextall is looking to add in the coming weeks as the trade deadline approaches.
One of those pieces available is with the Anaheim Ducks, as they have missed on Ryan O'Reilly, Noel Accari, and Vladimir Tarasenko.
What would be the cost to get Henrique in Pittsburgh? I imagine a potential deal would be based around Kapanen and futures for Henrique at Kapanen's salary ($3.2 million). Would a similar value package to what the Penguins paid for Rakell last year be a starting point?
Value of Adam Henrique to Pittsburgh
There's been speculation about Adam Henrique being moved to Pittsburgh and given the fact they've been trade partners before, I wouldn't put it past Hextall. This user has theorized that Anaheim would want Kasperi Kapanen and some futures in a deal.
Henrique would be an ideal get for Hextall as even in his older age, is still a very capable producer. Henrique this season has put up 33 points in 55 games, which is respectable and the only question about the deal is, where Jeff Carter would end up,
