Arizona Coyotes defenseman Jakob Chychrun has officially returned to action in recent games and is performing well, with six points in seven games.
The market is heating up for him, as reported by TSN's Darren Dreger in his Insider Trading segment.
« Obviously, we're at a point in the regular season where the pressure on general managers and owners increases.
"Then you have to put that aside and look at Chychrun's play. Since returning, he has played seven games and has three goals and three assists. He's a big defender and his shot is a bomb.
"There are still clubs interested in his services that think the price set by general manager Bill Armstrong is too high, but I think there's a group of teams that realize they may not have a choice to pay him."
Last month, Pierre LeBrun reported that Bill Armstrong was interested in receiving first round picks and an NHL prospect or young player in return.
To be continued.
