Vancouver Canucks set a disgusting record, and it's embarrassing

With the finish to the campaign that the Canucks had from the hiring of Bruce Brudeau last season, plus the emergence of young players and the seven-year contract extension to J.T. Miller, expectations were high for this year. Maybe not from there to say that the Canucks would be Stanley Cup contenders, but at least that they could compete for a playoff spot.
However, their start to the season has a bitter taste. After five games, Bo Horvat's team has yet to win. They are the only team in the Bettman circuit that has not won a single game.
Moreover, their 0-3-2 record is a record of mediocrity for the franchise. To add insult to injury, they have led in every game they have played so far, but have never been able to close the books.
Confidence must not be high in the locker room when the Canucks have lost four out of five games despite leading by two goals or more.
