Young Girl in Men's Pro Tournament Seriously Injured
15-year-old Slovakian rookie phenom Nela Lopousanova has either outshined or at least fit in with all of her male competition up until this point in her career.
Unfortunately, she has now been injured.
Lopousanova Injured
Lopousanova has exceeded all expectations since joining the Slovakian U18 league. As a 14-year-old, she scored more than players like Juraj Slafkovsky at the same age.
After a dirty hit left her out in the second period, she triumphantly returned in the third.
Unfortunately, just minutes later, she would suffer a wrist injury that would knock her out for at least six weeks.
Knowing Lopousanova's relentless energy and passion for the game, she'll be back better and stronger for next season.
The next superstar in hockey can't be stopped!
