The Boston Bruins faced off against the Buffalo Sabres and veteran agitator Brad Marchand shared his shocking New Year's resolution.
On Saturday, the Boston Bruins played a home game, which has become rare given the number of postponements by the NHL this season, and it was during a break in play when the infamous Bruins agitator stole the show once again.
In a pre-game segment, Marchand was questioned about his New Year's resolution for 2022, and he responded in a classic Marchand way. Rather than giving a meaningful answer to the topic, Marchand gave one that will likely elicit a collective moan from NHL fans.
For a man like Marchand, a New Year's resolution was unnecessary because he was already perfect.
"I don't have one. I'm perfect," said Marchand
Not only did the Bruins fans have a home game on New Year's Day, but they also got some fine comedy from their favorite pest, as the team beat the Buffalo Sabres 4-3.
