NHL fans spot UFO during Avs Wild game
During the Colorado Avalanche versus Minnesota Wild game the other day, fans spotted an object flying throughout the arena, and there were mixed reports about what it was.
Hockey fans are used to seeing the same camera angles they always have and watching the same sport they love, with minimal surprises. However, during the game the other day, fans got a surprise in their viewing experience when an unidentified flying object came into view during the game.
No one really knows what the object was, with some speculating that it was a bat in the arena. Others have suggested, with their tongue in cheek, that it could be Aliens. While other fans have taken a more practical route, confident that it was a drone.

Ultimately, the unidentified flying object remains that, unidentified. With the updates in broadcast tech these days and the smooth flight path of the object, I'd take a guess that it was just a drone the NHL is testing out for new camera angles. However, you never know.
