Jake McCabe Shares How He Spent First Night With the Leafs
Jake McCabe is officially a Toronto Maple Leaf. In his first night in Toronto, he got to live it up with his new teammates. He has now shared this experience.
Born in the U.S.A.
McCabe, who was previously known to have Canadian teams on his no-trade list, is a proud American-born player. He even played in the 2016 World Championships with teammate Auston Matthews.
In very American fashion, McCabe and Sam Lafferty's first night as Maple Leafs was spent with their new teammates at a Bruce Springsteen concert.
Honestly, it was the perfect set up. The boys had some tickets so to get in an environment like that & get to know the guys is perfect. Fun night ... Have a couple beers with the fellas, it's nice.
- Jake McCabe
While he may have been Born in the U.S.A., hopefully he is more Born to Run... run deep into the playoffs, at least.
