Fleury Shares Memory of Letang
Shortly after Pens defenseman celebrated his 1000th game on April 2, his former teammate, Minnesota Wild goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury, shared memories from the start of both their careers.
Letang and Fleury played 11 seasons together before Fleury was claimed by the Vegas Golden Knights in their 2017 expansion draft.
While the two made many memories during their time together as Penguins, they continue to make memories together - even while playing for different teams.
"'Obviously, when there's times in between games, we can hang out, see (each other), and have time away from the rink, we try to catch uplike a dinner or whatever,'" Letang recalled when the then Chicago Blackhawks goaltender and his team came to town to play the Penguins.
Fleury has made a name for himself off the ice as a jokester who never shies away at the opportunity to prank his former teammates.
