The Lightning won Game 1 in dominating fashion, but not without consequences.
It looks like the Lightning could possibly be missing up to 4 players for Game 2, including Norris trophy winning defenceman Victor Hedman.
The Lightning were able to manage the injuries last game, but a whole series without key players could be costly. Players battle through injuries all the time in the playoffs, and the Lightning are used to it at this point. 3 cup appearances in the Stanley Cup Final will wear you down, and right now it's showing.
Can The Leafs Take Advantage ?
The Maple Leafs have a full healthy roster, and should be taking advantage of the Lightning's depleted roster. But if this Tampa team has shown us anything, it's that they know how to battle adversity.
Will the Lightning be able to hold on to their series lead ? We'll find out Thursday.
