As you're probably aware, Nikita Kucherov's performance at the NHL All-Star Skills competition was one of the hot topic of the weekend.

He consistently wanted to provoke the crowd by making the minimal effort and seemed to enjoy it.

On the latest episode of 32 Thoughts, insider Elliotte Friedman made a major revelation about how Kucherov's antics could hurt him in the future.

Kucherov's All-Star Antics Could Hurt His Chances of Winning Major Honor

Friedman believes that his behavior could seriously hurt his chances of winning the Hart Trophy.

Here's what he said:

"People were like 'He shouldn't win the Hart Trophy based on that'. What do Hart Trophy winners do? They go to the All-Star Game and they put on a show right? Or at least try to put on a show? I don't think that should cost him votes but I think it could. I think it's entirely possible that it does."

Friedman also thinks that the NHL will surely consider the option to not invite him again to a future All-Star Weekend:

"Maybe they shouldn't invite him again in the future."

"They're gonna have to say to him 'If that's the show you're going to put on we can't have you here' and I don't think that's good. Kucherov should be at the All-Star Game every year, but you can't bring him if it's going to be like that."

Kucherov let down many people the other night, including his fans and teammates. Do you think he should apologize?
