Breaking: Ilya Samsonov Will not Wear a Pride Helmet Decal Tonight

Toronto announced earlier today that they won't wear pride warm-up jerseys tonight.

They will however wear a special helmet to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community.

Samsonov Will Not Wear Pride Helmet Decal Tonight

The Maple Leafs announced in the last few minutes that their goaltender Ilya Samsonov will not wear the pride helmet tonight in the game against the Blue Jackets.

Many Russian players did the same thing in the NHL, stating they were afraid of repercussions in their country.
