Matthews and nine others ejected in brawl between Leafs and Sabres
Tonight after the Toronto Maple Leafs had locked up a win against the Buffalo Sabres things got wild. A shoving match between a couple of players on the ice turned into an all-out brawl between the two sides.
The Toronto Maple Leafs pulled off a great win tonight over the Buffalo Sabres. The game brought plenty of excitement with Auston Matthews scoring his 60th goal of the season. At the end of the game in the final minute, all hell broke loose when Alex Tuch and Rasmus Dahlin aid a big hit to TJ Brodie.
CHAOS IN THE FINAL MINUTE
After the hit was made Mark Giordano and Auston Matthews came to his defense. The referees had their hands full trying to separate all the angry players. Eventually, once everyone had calmed down the referees handed out the penalties. As it turns out the officials decided to eject every skater that was on the ice.
As of now, there is not any extra discipline expected from this situation. However, sometimes when a brawl of this scale happens fines could be put in place.
