Leafs in Good Company At Top Of Important NHL Category
The Leafs are known for their streak of first-round losses.
They haven't won a serie since 2004, as we all know.
There's another streak that deserves attention one that puts them at the top of the league.
This time, it's about the number of times they qualified for the playoffs. And they're the best in the league in that matter.
Leafs and Bruins Share the Longest Active Playoffs Streak in the NHL
For the past seven seasons, the Bruins and the Leafs have made it to the playoffs. This is now the longest active streak in the NHL.
The Pittsburgh Penguins were officialy eliminated from the post-season for the first time in 16 years. Same thing goes for the Washington Capitals, whose eight-year streak ended this season.
Let's hope the (lucky) seven-year streak will bring luck to the Leafs and will finally end their drought.
As seen on Maple Leafs Daily-
Maple Leafs now share the longest active playoff streak with this Atlantic Division rival
