Revealing the Jersey Numbers of Maple Leafs' Recent Defensive Acquisitions
The Toronto Maple Leafs are having a busy week. We now know the numbers the two newest members will wear.
New Numbers For The New Players
Erik Gustafsson and Luke Schenn were both acquired by the Maple Leafs yesterday afternoon.
Schenn, who wore #2 when he was originally with the Maple Leafs, will now wear #22. This is because equally newly acquired Jake McCabe will wear #2 now.
Erik Gustafsson will wear the number 56, which has been his staple number throughout his NHL career.
Hopefully these two players help the Leafs win the Stanley Cup. If they do a good job, could we see the return of 22 and 56 next season?
We'll just have to wait and see.
