On the surface level a game between the Florida Panthers and Ottawa Senators does not scream rivalry. Add in a pair of brothers Brady and Matthew Tkachuk with one on each team and the rivalry soon becomes clear. Tonight an altercation including Brady and the Panthers goaltender set this game on fire.
All Hell Breaks Loose After Bobrovsky Attacks Tkachuk
A scenario that started with the Ottawa Senators looking to score a goal ended in chaos. A shot on the net followed up by Brady Tkachuk crashing the goaltender hard was not well received. Tkachuk was shoved by everyone including goalie Sergei Bobrovsky himself.
Tkachuk is not one to back down from a fight even against a goalie so he began firing punches back knocking off Bobrovsky's helmet. Neither Bobrovsky nor Tkachuk were given penalties on the play and the game remains tight tied at 2 in the third period.
