Oilers and Canucks fans engage in brawl after game 6
Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks' fans engaged in a brawl after the sixth game between both teams, on Saturday night, in Edmonton.
No one can say that Canadian hockey fans love the sport and their teams. In the playoffs, it reaches a new level: they look ready to go to battle for their favorite teams.
In the first two rounds of the playoffs, we've seen fan brawls break down in almost every games that involved the Canucks or the Oilers.
With Edmonton forcing a seventh game after winning game six 5-1, we could see another fight between both fanbases.
Unfortunately, the Oilers' win was ejected from the spotlight, as a massive fight broke out outside the arena, after the game.
Here's what happened:
"A fight just occurred outside of Rogers Place, which was allegedly started by Canucks fans acting erratically.
«A Vancouver fan got knocked out after a lot of drinking and a lot of lipping off. He had apparently said to a random nurse who came to help him I've been knocked out before.' Yes he did pee himself»"
This is something we don't like to see, as it makes all hockey fans look bad. With one of those teams sure to be eliminated as soon as Monday night, chances are we'll see a lot less fighting between fans for the rest of the playoffs.
