Tie Domi, who made a career out of fighting in the NHL, didn't seem impressed by his son's performance.
The Maple Leafs earned a big victory last night, beating Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers 6-3. The Leafs came out strong in the first two periods, getting a 5-0 lead.
However, the Oilers seemed to wake up in the third period, and scored three goals. Intensity reached a new level when Max Domi and Mattias Janmark decided to drop the gloves.
It all started in a battle between both players as they entered the Leafs' zone. They pushed each other and ended up behind the net. They exchanged a few blows before Janmark sent Domi on the ice.

Tie Domi, max's dad, a former Maple Leafs player who made a career out of fighting in the 1990's, wasn't impressed by his son's fight. In fact, he seemed to be more worried than anything else.
Watch his reaction here:
Tie and Max have completely different styles on the ice. While Tie was renowned for his aggressivity, while Max is known for his playmaking skills. In fact, he's among the NHL's elite for most assists scored at 5-on-5, with only Connor McDavid, Nathan Mackinnon, Nikita Kucherov, Leon Draisaitl, Tim Stutzle and Quinn Hughes in front of him.
For a father, it was probably a stressful moment. Watching your son fight, when you lived it yourself, mustn't have been easy.
Some people were shocked that Tie didn't celebrate his son's fight, but we completely understand that he was probably worried for him, or simply unimpressed, as he's seen it all.
