BREAKING: Penguins Lose Another Defenseman to Injury
The Penguins have been crushed by injuries lately. They have now lost another important piece of their defensive corps.
Pettersson Placed on LTIR
The Penguins have already lost Nick Bonino and Dmitry Kulikov to long-term injuries, and they have now lost defenseman Marcus Pettersson as well.
These three pieces would have been incredibly important for the Penguins to have an impact in the playoffs, and due to the LTIR rules, is is unlikely Pettersson is back for the first round.
Hopefully 34-year-old career AHler Taylor Fedun will be able to fill the gap, but things aren't looking good in Pittsburgh.
