The title of captain of the Montreal Canadiens has been in the news for the past few days.
Some believe he is too young, others think he should wear the "C" next season.
Yesterday, Jonathan Drouin said this on the Cogeco network:
I'm not sure if you want him to wear the "C" next season, but I'm not sure if he's going to wear the "C" next season. I don't know if you want to put that on his shoulders. But I think if there's anyone who's ready in this young group, Nick Suzuki is super mature, super calm, super on his game. He does his job on the ice, off the ice." In an interview on BPM Sports, CH defenseman David Savard also believes Suzuki deserves the role.
"I think Nick Suzuki would do a great job if the team gave him the 'C'." -David Savard
