There's been plenty of talk of what the Montreal Canadiens will do with goaltender Carey Price. TSN 690 Radio host Matthew Ross and Dave Trentadue suggested a possible trade sending Carey Price to the San Jose Sharks for defenceman Marc-Édouard Vlasic and or a prospect and a draft pick.
The Sharks have been wanting to deal Vlasic and his $7 million dollar contract that runs through the 2025-26 season. This move would also be a huge improvement over goaltenders James Reimer and Aiden Hill.
The trade would benefit both teams giving the Sharks a better chance at the Stanley Cup while the Canadiens, would get some more picks and or prospects to help Jeff Gorton with the rebuild or retool the Canadiens for the future.
