Auston Matthews Makes Commitment To Change His Playing Style
In an interview this morning, Toronto Maple Leafs star Auston Matthews made a commitment to playing a more physical style of game.
After throwing a big hit in the Leafs' game against Washington, fans cheered "MVP" chants.
This commitment means that Matthews will build on his reputation as a good defensive forward. He will make big hits more consistently, and the Maple Leafs will be even more entertaining to watch.
The outgoing Hart winner would probably be fine keeping his game the exact same, however, he is in pursuit to get the Leafs past the first-round of the playoffs, and the playoffs demand physical hockey.
