BREAKING: Canadiens put defenseman on waivers

On Wednesday, the Canadiens and GM Kent Hughes revealed a roster change. His first important roster change.
The Canadiens have waived defenseman Sami Niku. Niku was one of Marc Bergevin's last roster acquisitions, and he wasn't expected to be a hero.
Niku is an RFA and only makes $750k, thus he may be claimed by any team in the NHL.
