Renowned Marco D'Amico of Montreal Hockey Now has suggested four goaltenders who could leave their respective teams to join the Montreal Canadiens, with a view to replacing the team's star goaltender Carey Price.

Here are the players in question:

DUSTIN WOLF (Flames) - 21

Last season in the AHL, Wolf maintained a 2.35 goals-against average and a .924 save percentage. For a 20-year-old (at the time) in the AHL, these are impressive stats.

Why would he be available? Because the Flames built their team to win on the field and their current goaltender, Jacob Markstrom, has several seasons left on his contract.

UKKO-PEKKA LUUKKONEN (Sabres) - 23 years old

or

DEVON LEVI (Sabres) - 20 years old

Two goalies with a future in Buffalo. Luukkonen is under contract, unlike Quebec's Devon Levi, who will return to it university next season.

Could he do what many players do and decide not to sign with the team that has his rights, the Sabres? Yes, and he has the right.

LUKAS DOSTAL (Ducks) - 22 years old

He has dominated the last two seasons, with an AHL efficiency rating of .916. Clearly one of the best prospects at the young goalie level. With a healthy John Gibson, would the Ducks be inclined to trade him?

It would be very surprising, considering the team is at the end of a rebuilding process, but you never know.
