Legendary radio host Danielle Rainville, who was the first woman to have an open line 40 years ago, discussed the Carey Price situation and the place of women in hockey while on the air with Yannick Bouchard.

Here's what she thinks of the Carey Price file, it's pretty sharp:

Heille! Can you go home now? Can you do that? Forget about the cash, man. Your career is over. Thank you for your service. We move on. At some point... It's a shame. That's a shame. It looks like it's going to be extremely difficult for him to continue a career. You have to accept where you're at and accept that we've had some extraordinary years and make way for others." -Danielle Rainville

Danielle Rainville is very proud of Émilie Castonguay's career path, who became assistant general manager of the Vancouver Canucks this year.

The important thing is that women today have a choice," she says, noting that she doesn't think the most recent female appointments in sports are related to "a marketing card. Women can bring something different.

And if she had any advice for young women who aspire to a career in sport: "You have to get involved in the business."
