MUST-SEE: Ryan O'Reilly Puts on Maple Leafs Jersey For the First Time
Every NHL player dreams of playing for their childhood team. While money and success are always most important once a player hits the pros, when a player gets to chance to join their team for a playoff push, they have to take it.
O'Reilly grew up about two hours outside of Toronto, and was an avid Leafs fan. While his career has taken him from Colorado, to Buffalo, to St. Louis, with a Conn Smythe winning Stanley Cup campaign in between, joining the Maple Leafs is massive for O'Reilly.
Set to make his Leafs debut tonight, he was filmed for the first time in the blue and white jersey. It's safe to say that it just looks right:
Hopefully O'Reilly can be the impactful piece the Leafs need, and maybe he'll even be able to lift the cup over his head for the second time.
We'll just have to wait and see.
