Evgenii Malkin has had a storied career in Pittsburgh after winning 3 cups and playing 1,032 total games so far with the Penguins.

However, Malkin isn't finished yet as he reached another milestone this season.

Malkin: "My knee is stronger - my body is stronger and this year is very important for me. I know that. I know I'm not young anymore, but I have more experience. I have had a great career, but I'm not done."

Malkin had a rough time bouncing back from his knee surgery in 2021, to have a mildly successful year, putting up just 20 goals and 42 points.

But this year he's put in the work and trained after making it known, that he wasn't happy with his effort last season. Since then in 51 games this season, Malkin has outshined his past season efforts and along the way put up a milestone of 1,200 points and all with the Penguins organization.

Since he reached the 1,200-point milestone in Anaheim, Malkin has vowed to keep going. His career totals in Pittsburgh stand at 463 goals and 737 assists.

Geno may not be in the prime of his career anymore where he'll put up 100+ points, but he'll always be a top contributor, and his continued success as a one of the Penguins Big 3, is a testament to his consistency and also Mike Sullivan's system and his teammates.
