NHL Accused of Rigging Games After a Crazy Call Last Night
If there is one particularly gray area in hockey, it's what a kicking motion entails for a goal.
The debate wouldn't even exist if officials could make up their mind and decide on an umbrella rule. It could go either way make kicking legal, or disallow goals every time.
Yesterday night, another one of these kicking events took place, but this call was so egregious that people are starting to believe the game was rigged.
You can decide for yourself:
As you can see, the puck was very clearly kicked into the net. However, in a game that the Flames needed to win much more than the Rangers, it counted.
Fans rightfully started freaking out online:
It's time for the NHL to make up their mind with kicking motions. Fans aren't going to stay complacent for much longer.
