Report: Celebrity Justin Bieber looking to acquire an NHL team
On Friday, Elliotte Friedman and Jeff Marek discussed the ownership issue in Ottawa, following the tragic death of Senators owner Eugene Melnyk.
Gary Bettman will meet with Melnyk's daughters, but the club may move to Quebec City. The news that five Senators games would be played in Quebec City in 2022-23 didn't help, though Friedman insists the team won't depart.
However, Marek said that Bieber had considered buying the Senators.
Is it reasonable to expect Bieber to persuade close friend Matthews to join with Ottawa as a free agent?

It was also reported today by Elliott Friedman that Auston Matthews will resign with the Maple Leafs.
