The Chicago Blackhawks are facing a tough decision as they possess two valuable trade deadline assets in their forwards, Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane. Both players are in the final year of their contracts, and while Toews has kept quiet about trade talks, Kane has made it clear that he could be traded within the upcoming days.

If Kane were to be traded, it would mark the end of an era for the Chicago Blackhawks, as he has been a key player for the team for the past sixteen years. While Kane had previously expressed a desire to join the New York Rangers, the recent trade of Vladimir Tarasenko to the Rangers has taken them off the list of potential destinations for Kane.

Kane expressed his disappointment in an interview, stating that the Rangers were a team he was "definitely looking at," but it seems they have filled their needs with Tarasenko. However, TSN co-host and former NHL player Carlo Colaiacovo has revealed that Kane has only two teams on his list - the Rangers and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

According to Colaiacovo, Kane would be open to accepting a trade to either of these teams. If the Blackhawks do decide to trade Kane, it will undoubtedly be a difficult decision, but the team will likely receive a significant return for one of the NHL's top players.
